Grand Bahama Island is very accessible by air and sea. Visitors can arrive by scheduled and chartered flights at Grand Bahama International Airport (FPO); it’s a short 30 minute flight from Florida, as well as by cruise ship or cruise ferry into the Lucayan Harbour Cruise Facility.
There is twice-weekly by Mail boat from Nassau to Freeport – Tuesdays and Thursdays-and twice-daily service between Crown Haven, The Abacos and McLean’s Town, East End Grand Bahama Island.
To make things easier, the U.S. Department of State offers pre-clearance on Grand Bahama Island through Homeland Security from and back to the United States of America.
Once touching down on Grand Bahama and clearing Customs and Immigration, guests are greeted at our Ultra-Modern International airport.
The closest major airport is six miles away. It is recommended that you take a taxi from the airport to the resort. The resort offers car rentals at a discounted rate.
If you take a taxi, the average cost to get from the airport to the resort is $25 each way for two people, with an extra $3 per additional passenger.
To get from the Harbour to the resort, the taxi fare averages $32 each way for two people. However, a shared taxi with 6 people or more, is only $7 per person.

If you drive, take East Mall Drive to East Sunrise Highway, turn left, turn right on Sea Horse Road, left on Midshipman road, right on West Beach Drive and right on Jolly Roger Drive. The Resort is ½ mile farther on the left.
